Flavor is tart with Cherry, Wheat, Floral Hop, and Malty Notes. The flavors a well balanced and quite flavorful without being too sweet. Itís not perfect nor is it for everyone but for what it is, itís alright!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 6, 2010 Pour a slightly cloudy reddish mid-amber with minimal head and a light lace around the edges. Aroma of cherries and malt. Taste of malts and citrus and then finishes with slightly sweet cherries and low hops. A decent body with low-natural carbonation. Overall, pretty good fruit wheat ale. Worth a try if you get near the Green Bay area.

Certainly one of the better wheat beers Iíve tried. Had a small sample at Roots restaurant.

This seems to be made w/ real cherries rather than extract so, hey, thatís a pretty good start. It pours headless and orange w/ a very slight pinkish tinge to it. Itís slightly cloudy and nearly headless. The nose on this is mostly cherries up front w/ a pretty decent bready malt presence in the background. Taste is lightly sweet and tart which brings the focus more on the cherries. This is medium bodied w/ a creaminess from the wheat which gives it a nice juicy texture reminiscent of a hefeweizen (though this has nothing of that styleís signature yeast character). Normally, I donít like this sort of thing at all but this is reasonably subtle for being so cherry focus and generally well put together. This reminds me somewhat of New Garusís fruit beers only w/ a lot more beer character.

Draft. Pours an opaque golden red color with a slight 1 finger head. Slight aroma of cherries. More tart cheer taste vs sweet but does have a subtle sweetness. Not bad. Very drinkable on a hot summer day.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light amber with a large pillowy white head. Aroma of candied cherry, almost cherry pie like, grains and wheat. Taste of cherry juice, wheat and malt. Goes down nice and easy and finishes up cherry. Actually, not too bad. If anything, a touch too sweet on the end.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a cloudy gold with a good sized white head mostly lasting. Nose is cherries. Fairly creamy but not very well carbonated. Taste is pleasant, mostly slightly sour cherries, wheat, very light hops flavor with no bitterness. A pleasant summer sipping beer that pairs well with turkey deli sandwiches and chips.

Lightly hazed orange amber color with a moderate, fairly dense, beige head that does seem to have a lightly pink hue. Sweet and lightly acidic in the nose, with bits of wheat and cherry. More a wheat ale scent for me. Definitely Door County cherries in the flavors. Tart cherry pie comes to mind. I like it for the flavor of the cherries more than any wheat beer characters. If you like Door County cherries, you should enjoy this one. 2/10
