Nitro draft to taster. Looks good; a creamy beige that turns black as the nitro settles. Smells solid; malty and roasty with a nice coffee presence. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Solid beer.

The name of the beer says it all, coffee is the dominant taste from start to finish . This beer is pretty smooth and easy to drink. I generally enjoy this beer the most when I am eating a meal, or if it is on nitrogen.

The best beer I have found, as far as coffee variant. The first taste catches you off guard but from there it’s smooth and refreshing.

Bottle from mellow mushroom. Pours dark black with trace off white head. Only a small amount of acidic nose. Acidic coffee overtones and some malt darkness lurking underneath.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is layers of Tootsie Roll chocolate and milk chocolate while the taste and finish is waves of slightly sharp coffee that is lightly roasted and high in acidity, like a good Colombian or Guatemalan. Very attractive with a long-lasting head and blackish-brown color. Worth locating while visiting Wisconsin.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Coffee and bitter chocolate escape as soon as the bottle is opened. Coffee is, indeed, the dominant flavor here. Plenty of bitter chocolate to go with it, as well. The hops kick in at the back end for a little more bitterness.
Not much else to say. Loads of coffee with enough other flavors going on to make it interesting. I’d do this again.
