3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bad label, green-brown .5L Europint bottle. Foggy, dull brown-orange beer, clingy bone colored head. Odd aroma - reminds me of toasted sesame perhaps, or some of those Metamucil-style whole grain crackers - that suggests its savory and would go well with food. Sweetish up front, chalky flavor with hints of cocoa powder. Medium hopping. Biscuity mouthfeel. Moderately bitter finish with an amber ale aftertaste. Whole Foods, Tallahassee.

I rate beers I think significantly better than average, simple as that. I am not into showing off through word games. :)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Whole Foods Market - pint bottle. Dark, murky orange pour with a sticky off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma has some light spicy notes, a touch of citrus. Flavor has a nice underlying subtle bitterness with some sweet cake mix notes, a touch of vanilla and some coriander spiciness. Mouthfeel is rich and full. Nice change of pace.

Draft. Nitro. Pours a dark gold color. Half inch of off white head. Moderate hop nose, mostly grassy. Moderate hop bitterness. Bland malt with a slightly grainy, husky finish that seems out of place. Ok.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
16 oz bottle in appleton, WI The pale ale poured light amber color with a thin off-white head that dissipated. Some lacing down the glass. Nice aroma of resin like hops and grainy malt. The medium body ale had average carbonation. The taste was of earthy hops balanced with caramel malt and citrus. The finish had some lingering bitterness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the Milwaukee outlet. Pure amber color with a nice head. Drinks with a great body, presented with the classic pale ale aspects. Has a decent light biscuity malt baseline, with an average acidic bite on top. (#5148, 7/5/2013)
