holdenn (1199), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 14, 2008 On tap at the Green Bay location. Pours a clear copper with a fizzy white head. Sweet malts, grain, and a touch of citrus in the nose. Sweet caramel malt flavors that are slightly charred. Touch of hops, floral and citrus. Slightly over carbonated, but fresh and tasty. mnurda (368), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Jul 16, 2008 I must have stayed at the same hotel as notalush. this and spotted cow were the only ones available. Very drinkable. notalush (2128), Rawn-kawn-kohma, New York, USA Jun 23, 2008 I must have had about 8 pints of this stuff this week because it was the only craft ale being served at my hotel bar in Green Bay - from the first sip I could tell this was authentically british - it had that hard water, almost drying quality about it, bready malt, and a subtle, but drying hop bitterness in the finish - crisp, clean, and easy to drink - this beer was a godsend. phishpond417 (1520), Madison, Wisconsin, USA May 7, 2008 Rich flavors on medium bodied pale ale. I am not too far from hinterland brewery, it might be a good to try some other brews. Hm...
24 March ’08 Update: I notice well balanced, astringed mild hop taste. Aroma is slightly floral, a little citrus fruit, perhaps a peach or two. Otherwise, appealing, and enjoyable- refreshing, clear crisp taste. LtJudge (359), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA Apr 25, 2008 Pours a golden yellow color with a off white head. Slight aroma of hops with a sweet malt. Flavor is a nice balance of hops and malt. The body is a tick thin, but all in all not bad.
