Saison has a golden hue with an ample two finger head. A lemon-citrus aroma fills the nose. Brewed with Belgian specialty malts and a multitude of spices. Starts crisp citrus flavor and leaves a spicy pepper finish.

Aroma of lemon, slight brett, gum and honey. Appearance is gold with white head. Flavor has some gum, banana, brett and honey; I miss the pepper and dryness of a true Saison here. Palate is creamy and somewhat lively. Decent.

This beer pours a slightly cloudy, tarnished gold in color with a one finger bright white, soapy head. The nose is impressive right off the bat. It features a lot of lemon rhind, a cardamom esque spice, light citrusy yeast, and light hay. The flavors are very well rounded. There is a lot of spicing, a lot of cardamom, and the citrusy peel aspect isn’t over the top. The yeast character is near perfect. It has really nice flavor. It drinks light in body and leaves behind plenty of spice. It’s pretty interesting. For an American made saison, this is pretty solid. While I may get flack for this, I would say that it is a poor man’s version of Fantome Hiver, with a much lighter mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a smallish head and aromas of lemons, honey and white pepper. Flavor is... well... I really don’t like this beer. It tastes like a mediocre shandy... sweet and lemony... but then with some buttery and peppery edginess to it. Not my cup of tea. Not how I like saisons, either.

This starts with a big lemon aroma, and pours a cloudy orange with a thing white head. This is a light crisp beer, with lemon notes in the beginning, fading into earthy and pepper notes in the finish. This beer doesn’t have the farmhouse funk of some saisons, although it does hit the mark of being a mild and refreshing beer in hot weather.

Lemony and a bit of hop bite. Lemony aromas would be good, but closely mimics lemon dish soap. But I do like this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A dark yellow beer with arestraining egg white colored lasting head. Smells of saison and with a lemon zest flavor.

500ml bottle from skyview, thanks Bob. Pours more of a pale gold, clear with dense slightly off white head with solid retention. The nose is quite balanced, not being overly estery sweet or too malty. Hints of spices, touch of floral/herbal notes, pepper and dry light graininess.

Bottle: The aroma consists of floral notes, lemon grass, yeast, and a hint of banana. It pours a hazy gold with lots of sediment and a small white head that quickly fades to a film. The flavor starts with citrus and banana. The finish has some lemon grass, pepper, and faint herbal notes. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation and a soft mouthfeel. Overall, too sweet for a saison, but still pretty tasty.

Sampled the cherry version of this at Casanovas. Light, fruity, easy drinking. Very pleasant ale.

Sampled on draught at the Hinterland brewery.brewpub in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden pale saison with a creamy off-white head that has some excellent retention and lacing, Aroma of light yeast, golden grain malt, a hint of Ivory soap and herbal spices. Taste is full bodied, with flavors of yeast, white pepper, golden grain malt and plenty of herbal spices. Finish continues the spicy aftertaste, medium bite bitterness that quickly disappears and leaves behind more spice aftertaste. This is one solid farmhouse saison.
