Commercial Description: Great brew for a cold winter night. Don't be fooled by the virtually opaque black color of this porter. This beer is clean and smooth. The dark roasted malts give this beer coffee-like tones on top of a rich chocolate malt character. Moderately hopped.
Dark chestnut, almost opaque with a somewhat fluffy head. Aroma of mild citrus and pines. Flavors of dark malt, bitter chocolate and a hint of juniper. Slightly astringency in the finish. Not quite a Anchor, but quite good.
