COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled. A hazy yellow beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma has notes of straw and citrus. The flavor is malt, citrus, and straw, leading to a bitter hay-like finish.

Bottle, 4.8%. Mildly fruity aroma. Hazy yellow colour. OK fruity hop flavour, a bit of peach, hint of ashtray, but not a problem. Distinct bitterness, rough but clean.

[bottle] Pleasant almost carmel malt aroma with detectable hops. Surprisingly not clear golden straw under a lacy, dense, white cover. Sweet base malt flavour is masked by potent, sharp bitterness, though the bitterness dissipates towards the end to reveal once again a pleasant malt flavour. This beer had some strange livestock/stable accent that may be the beginnins of spoilage. The sell by date is February, so maybe I will try another bottle. Without that, this is a nice Pils for those who like bitter. Light body, medium carbonation, slightly bitter finish.
