500ml bottle (OPP, Helsinki. German Weeks 2009)
Big sharp banana and citrus aroma. Palate is crisp carbonation and big estery retronasals - banana and other fruits. Some hint of alcohol at times. Taste is lightly grainy, a touch orange, and with an acidic bite. Long finish is mostly of clean fresh hops - very nice.

The bottle looks simple but good, the beer in the glass is okay, very zippy, modest turbid. Starts prickly-fruity, modest yeasty. Fruity notes of apple, some banana. Finish a bit drier, but not too much. Not bad!

Draught@Viisi Penniä, Helsinki. Cloudy pale golden color, frothy white head. Banana, pear and sweet spice aroma. Slightly tangy flavor with ginger. Medium body, high carbonation. This stands out a bit from the usual crowd.

Pungent typical hefewiezen nose - quite nice. Hazy pale orange color witha foamy head. Sweet wheat and grain body with a PEZ-like candy taste in the finish that blends well and is enjoyable. Decent German wheat worth a try or a second rate.

A little too typical of the weiise style. Nothing special but still commendable.

Bottle by 11.09.12. Wheaten slimy nose with strong yeast, trace vanilla. Dusty hazy golden body with a large rocky off-white head. Soft and lightly sweet, slimy light-medium body, creamy vanilla with light citrus, some nice minerally crispness toward the end, wheat in the finish. Middle-of-the-road but was bright and really refreshing.
