Not bad, but lacks more hops...........

Labelling itself as especially hoppy and fruity this one was just dull. Nice bottle, nice light brown look but the beer itself is far away from giving us hoppy aromas. Instead you get some malt and maybe some fruits. Not to recommend.

Milky amber colour with low steady head and medium to smooth body. Nose of sour malt. Taste of dusty nuts, almonds, basement, mild wine, mild hops and old grains. Easy to drink and probably not that nice as I would have imagined when I saw the labeldesign. and beer title.

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry cornish and grassy. Toasted malty and light grassy. Bitter and dry finish. Light malty presence into the finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear deep golden with a white head. Sweet, clean malty nose. Medium body, again clean, sweet malts with a whiff of flowery hops. No real bitterness though. 060413

Bottle, 5.2%. Clear amber/golden with tiny off-white head. Aroma is malt, grainy, little butter? and a little grass. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, hop, medium sweet, little grass and a little bitter.

Bottle, kindly provided by Quack-Duck. Hazy dark amber with a frothy head. The aroma reminded me of a... light dunkel, perhaps? There is caramel, dark bread and licorice, but the aroma is not really ’dark’ so to speak. Maybe this is because of the apple notes in the background? Anyway, I don’t quite get the name of the beer, as it contains very little hops. Both in aroma and in taste, the latter being mid-bodied malty, light sweet and subtly bitter, with some more licorice than hops in the aftertaste. Low on hops, not too high on aroma, though this would make a good breakfast beer I believe.

Pours light yellow with a large foamy head. Aroma has notes of wheat, malts and earthy herbs. Taste is slightly sour and earthy with notes of wheat, malts and spices.

(Falsche) Es hat eine hellbraune Farbe, ist hefetrüb mit weißer Schaumkrone. Das Aroma ist Buttersäure-Schweißartig mit minimaler Süße. Beim trinken muss man fast kotzen, soviel Buttersäure ist drin. Bittere ist garnicht drin, die Karbonisierung ist OK. Zusammengefasst: nciht trinken, schmeckt als hätte man 4Jahre, warm gelagerten, Hopfen benutzt.
