Chalk, grain and some of the usual weiss-background. Cloudy yellow, white nice head. Quite lightbodied, grainy and with very subdued flavors. Perhaps it would be better after doing some sport - then again it would probably be just as boring at that time.

Pours a cloudy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of clove, wheat, citrus, and banana.

The bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass is okay. Bit lighter than exspected. Starts very mild, modest yeasty, fruity like banana. Very thin finish. Nothing special!

Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 7, 2008
bottle. Cloudy pale yellow, enormously large head. Yeasty and wheaty, high and lively carbonation. Slightly fruity. Good for refreshing purposes, but lacks the complexity of the other Hirsch-Weizens (of course, also due to the low ABV).

Bottle. Sweet citric-banana and wheat malt aroma. Pale orange-yellow color with small head. Light orange-banana and wheat malt flavor - watery palate. High carbonation. Not bad for a low alcohol Weizen.

Dorqui (1552) - Brescia, ITALY - JUN 24, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2007 Bottled 0,50L. Yellow pale color, lightly hazy with medium fizz tone. Compact head of good duration. Light and escaping scent with aromas of lemon, stum, banana and dried grass. Pungent and fresh taste even if much light one and skinny.

Papsoe (23023) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2005
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) A "Sport Weisse" is apparently just a lower in alcohol wheat beer. It looks like a regular Weizen but lacks fullness and body. 310304

Nice head, pale yellow, cloudy. Banana and yeast aroma. Quite light, some fruit flavor. Very characterless, watery aftertaste. I think its O.k. after sports.

Pale yellow, fully cloudy. Huge white, dense head, dissipating. Nose with bananaester, wheat, yeasty, spicy. Light-fruity taste; bit orangey, bit of banana(first time I TASTE banana instead of smelling it). Obvious wheaty acidity. For the rest characterless. Extremely light. Then again, I suppose that's the idea. What can be said? If you want to do biathlon and still swill beer...
