A cloudy yellow with a small off white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, light banana and a hint of spice.

50 cl bottle. Rated on 06.07.2010
Orange colour, disappearing head. Aroma is thin with malt and some toffee. Flavour is thin and sweet with malt and smoke. Not your typical hefe – and not in a good way.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Geil!

Bügelverschlußflasche (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!): Golden, hazy, sourish (gherkins??) nose with grainy-wheaty undertones; sourish-tart flavour, light bodied for a beer of 5.2%; lemony-fruity traces in the tart and sourish finish. Sigh......

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Sour citrus-fruity nose with a moderate wheaty nose with a tinge of banana and diacetyl. Moderately sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate, almost a bit flat carbonation. Sourish wheat-malty and citrus-fruity taste with shy notes of cloves; dry and citric wheaty finish with light spicy notes. A rather mediocre Weizen. 06.I.10
