29/07 Draught in Bard Celtic Pub in Rijeka. I think this is the one, as waitress told me itís Vienna style. Poured clear red body with medium sized ebony head. Rather weak aroma but pleasantly, caramel malted. Flavor is somehow different than Iíve excpected - bitterish hoppy but malty at the same time, largely in form of sweet caramel. Pretty thin bodied, but still nice. It was interesting how the first sips revealed bitterness which was not quite representative alone, later moving into caramel sweetness which is felt specially on its long finish. Fine, interesting, but nothing great again.

Ethereal (2417) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 1, 2008
Bottle at Chris_Oís 19th April 2008 tasting. Orange in colour with a malty aroma. Maltier in taste than a standard pilsner. A bit slick & quick on the palate but a good, clean tasting beer.

Amber color, small and delisicious beige head what dissappears quickly. Some roasted malt aroma with a bit fruity perfume. Roasted malt flavour with a little hoppy taste, sweety chocolate and caramell, some fruity taste. Smooth mouthfeel. Nice, drinkable one.

Bottle at Chris_oís The Wolf tasting. Amber colour with a bit of syrupy malt in the mouth, but pretty decent. I enjoyed all of the Hirter beers I had which I bought from The Bohemian in Deal.

A Mes rate: Bottle at Chris_Oís Ha Ha Ha Ha Gimme the Cheese Tasting.
Rich amber with a rapidly dissipating head. Plenty of sharp bitter hops offset by yeasty notes. Slight caramel sweetness and spice. A reasonable vienna.

On tap in Bologna. Crisp and dry beer, palate cleaning, a good refreshment. Geenrously hopped, a pronounced flowery aroma and a bitter finish.
