Mild malziger Antrunk, frisch. Nettes Dunkles. Danke an Jevers Zeuge. Test vom 12.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,10,11,10,12,11 - 10,75

Probably the best beer... No, it´s not. But it is a very, very good dark beer. Caramel and fruits. And also nice to look at with a big head. I should have bought some bottles back home.

I really enjoy this. I love how Malty and roasty it is. So much better on tap also even tho I still enjoy it from a bottle. Aroma is typical. Taste is slightly smokey. Lots of malts, caramely, roasty. Nice body. Really creamy head. A great lager.

Half liter bottle. A drinkable, non-watered down dunkel with some quality roasted caramel malts through out. The aroma is hazy and light, though well balanced like the flavor notes. Some caramel malts, light coffee, roasted biscuits, and a crisp herbal grass. On the pour, a fluffy of off-white and well carbonated head, nice retention, light-medium in body, and deep ruby in color. The feel is not as carbonated as expected, and actually decently sticky and creamy and not too thin either. Minor mild-dark fruits up front, with some nutty, roasted biscuit malts and caramels coming after. Clean grassy hop mix in with the malt, but still finishes malty nutty. Not a ton of flaws here. This was solid, easy drinking.

The beer pours a very dark amber with a nice light tan head, good retention and lacing. The aroma and taste are just all malt. Its all I can pick up is malt, almost indistinguishable from a marzen, which is one of my least favorite styles. I found this very boring, simple, and lazy. The feel is light, and for 5% its not very drinkable

A fine Austiran dunkel. It is sweet and malty, but super drinkable. notes of cocoa and subtle hosp adorn the tongue.

Decent dunkel with moderate depth of flavor, thin mouthfeel, and moderate bitterness. Nothing outstanding about it though.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Soft palate on this dark beer. Very moderate carbonation. One dimensional dark malt but nice nontheless.

Colore marrone scuro con leggera schiuma. Aroma di malto tostato, in bocca di nuovo tostatura con discreto finale.

Tasted from a 500mL bottle purchased at Armanetti’s. Pours dark amber with a thin white head that leaves spotty lace. The nose is milk chocolate with darkly roasted malt. The flavor is very malty with milk chocolate, molasses, and hay. The body is fairly light, but somewhat coating with average carbonation and a medium molasses finish.
