Deep red pour with a thin head. Lace is present. Aroma of raisin and caramel. Taste is a little metallic. Some raisin and farm notes in the taste. Thin mouth.

Dark brown-teak with fluffy cream head. Chocolate nose, medium body, light carbonation, high residual sweetness but balancing malt astringency and hop dryness. Nice.

The color of the beer is a reddish brown with a thick off-white head, and the aroma is strongly of roasted chocolate malts, fig, and dough. The taste is mildly sweet and slightly umami, but the palate fuses a soft carbonation, an astringent yet abrupt finish, medium body, and a creamy texture.

Dark brown with tan head. Smells of caramel. Taste of caramel and a bit raisen. Reminds me of Germany. Yes, I know it is from Austria.

Servita in un classico boccale tedesco si presenta di un marrone scuro, frutto dei malti tostati e caramellati utilizzati, variegato da riflessi ambrati/granata con il tutto sormontato da una discreta schiuma, mediamente persistente, a grana media e di color nocciola. La schiuma scompare piano piano fino a lasciare un velo sopra la supercifie della birra. L’aspetto è molto invitante. Al naso prevalgono, in perfetta linea con lo stile, le note maltate. I descrittori principali sono il tostato dei malti, il caramello, la crosta di pane, il cioccolato(?) e frutta secca. Gli aromi tendono a diventare più marcati con lo scaldarsi della birra. Dietro le note maltate è possibile sentire anche un leggero apporto erbaceo/floreale dato dal luppolo. Non aspettatevi un aroma deciso ma nemmeno sfuggente; nel complesso un aroma pulito, piacevolmente variegato, che avrebbe sicuramente giovato di una maggiore intensità. Il sapore prosegue l’esperienza sensoriale iniziata con l’olfatto: il gusto ha uno sviluppo piuttosto semplice ma pulito. Predominano il dolce e i sapori dati dai malti: crosta di pane, frutta secca e ovviamente caramello. Durante la deglutizione fa la comparsa l’apporto del luppolo che rinfresca la bocca con una leggera amarazza e asciuttezza caratterizzata da sentori erbacei. Anche nel gusto la birra muta con il passare del tempo, scaldandosi infatti, oltre ad una accentuazione degli aromi, la "Morchl" propone note di cioccolato. Nel retrogusto l’amaro lascia subito il posto ad un ritorno dolce di caramello e malto tostato che permangono con una discreta persistenza. I sapori, in generale molto gradevoli, non risultano però eccessivamente intensi. Il corpo risulta medio accompagnato da una carbonatazione medio/bassa.

Aroma maltato, caramellato. Colore marrone con un bel cappello di schiuma persistente. L’assalto al palato è dominato dal malto, supportato da una dose leggera di luppolatura. Una birra caramellata e dolce come ci si aspetterebbe da una Dunkel. Un buona bevuta.

Bottle 0.5 L. Brown body with reddish shadings; medium, creamy, tan head, mostly lasting with some lacing. Moderate-to-hesvy aroma of dark roasted malts with notes of nuts, caramel and maybe raisins. Mainly sweet flavour, nicely balanced by a bitter note that becomes dominating in the finish. Medium body with an oily texture; some soft carbonation is felt. Nice beer.
