Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Schöne malzbierähnliche Farbe. Stark malziger, karamelliger Geruch.

Bottle. Poured a black almost black color with a smaller tanish of white head. Aroma was lots of yeast, earthy, fruits, and malts. Weird bready flavor with hops and caramel in the finish. Weird flavor but was very good. A great beer.

Binny’s LP 500ml ($2): Pours a ruby brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma is slightly fruity and toasted malts. Taste was originally a bit tarnished with some metallic character, but as I kept going through it, things did improve. The beer is slightly sweet, with some dark fruits making appearances. It is like a really light doppelbock. The finish has a slight seltzerish feel to it alas.

Pours a dark reddish-brown color with a thin small bead head that coats the glass somewhat. Smooth sweet caramely taste with some (but not much) hops. Very refreshing and enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a dark ruby brown color with a longlasting off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel aroma. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with bitter hints. Has a sweetish malty bitter caramel finish.

.5L bottle pours nearly black with a small, short-lived tan head. Aroma is sweet malt and toffee. Taste is a bit more toasted and bitter.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2011 Liter at Grunauer in KCMO. Pours a deep mahogany with a sizable, creamy, beige head. The nose is of clean toasty malt with some caramel and faint cocoa in there. Light-bodied and soft with an almost roasty, slightly drying finish. The flavor is of clean toasty caramel malt, some toffee and a touch of dark roast coffee in the finish. This is one of the tastier dunkels that I have sampled to date. Suggested by our server, Mark. Very good stuff, and a great compliment to my meal.

Aroma of milk chocolate, caramel, apple and light raisin. Appearance is cola red/brown with tan head. Flavor matches the nose, but with a nice waffle cone/coffee finish. Palate is bubbly. Quite tasty, but not excellent in every respect.
