0.5 L bottle, bought @Julius Meinl, Wien. Straw-yellow with a greenish tint. Barely any head, a ring of blond bubbles only. Low aroma level. Tones of floral and grassy hops and light sweet pilsner malt. Hint of lemon/lemonade. Clean and mellow in the mouth. Medium malt body. A tad too far on the sweet side to be fresh and quensching. Less than medium bitter. Short undistinct malt ending. A boring beer that drinks ok..

Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a 1 finger, frothy, bright white head. Aroma is cereal grain, mineral notes, toast, sweet hay, grassy hops and the faintes whiff of skunked hops, not enough to bother me, but I am not particularly offended by a little skunkiness. Flavor is slightly sweet cereal grain, honey, toast, floral and sweet grass hops. Lightly bitter, toasty and sweet finish. Palate is light bodied, with a creamy entry, neutral middle, and pleasantly sharp, but light and blanketing carbonation. Not bad, but a little sweet and it starts to taste a little strange as it warms.

dumontn (528) - CHICAGO, Illinois, USA - NOV 6, 2011
Pours slightly hazy gold, darker than average pilsener, strong foamy head. Aroma is light malt, honey, bread, clean yeast, some minerality, overall very grainy. Taste is buttery bread, honey, limestone, mild noble hop character. Body is medium, smooth, above average carbonation, dry bready finish. Overall, a very rich tasty pils that really exhibits the water quality of its native region.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2012 Bottle in Vienna. Nice golden colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of malt and hops. Feels good and warm in your mouth. Did go very well togeher with som heavy austrian meet dish. Not to much carbonation. An enjoyable austrian lager.

Pale golden beer with typical pilsner qualities. In no way unpleasant, quite drinkable, but nothing really stands out
