Test vom 27.8.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,6,8,6,12,6 - 6,80

The lager in the 330ml twist-off bottle. Bought at Spar in Vienna. Slightly lighter in body than the pils, with a lighter malt flavor as well. A decent malt aroma, though, and fruity hops as well. Good hoppy flavor, very fruity. Much like the pils but a bit lighter. A very nice, well-balanced beer. Slightly hoppy finish, but slightly malty-sweet as well. Not as satisfying as the heavier beer, but still very good.

bottle, Interspar Linz. Clear pale golden colour, large and creamy white head. Well-balanced malt and hop character, slightly grainy with shy hints of bread dough with a tiny touch of grassy hops. Dry and grassy-hoppy finish.

Bottled. Clear pale golden, rich airy head. Dominated by papery malt. Soft and gentle with medium body and notes of butter. Low bitterness. Typical Austrian style malt accented beer completely without edges.

Another beer I love from The Hirter Brewery. A nice aroma and rather hoppy flavour followed by a mild sweetness. A lovely full bodied beer.

Dorqui (2141) - Brescia, ITALY - NOV 26, 2004
Limpid yellow color. Compact but evanescente foam. Fizzy. Very balanced with a fine bitter. Nothing of special but in the complex a discreet beer.
