Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of LordValentin. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a small white head. Plenty of brewing cereal and sulphur in the nose. Medium body, very unclean, metallic and heavy on the cereals. Raw sulphurous finish with plenty of crude and unrefined hops. 161111

Bottled. a yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of cardboard, vitamins, and brewing cereal. The flavor is sweet with cardboard, diacethyl, brewing cereal, and a bit of malt, leading to a dry finish. Thanks Morten for sharing.

(bottle, Thimphu, Bhutan) bleh. Gold with white head. Faint chemical aroma. Flavor is slightly sweet malt, ? rice. A non-exiting malt liquor I won’t try again.

650 mL bottle in Sikkim, India. Pours a golden darker yellow with a rocky, white head that has good retention and lacing. (A first for Asia?) Aroma is sweet corn, rice, cereal grains. Taste is sweet and smooth and not overly carbonated with sweet corn and rice predominating the mix and does not exhibit too much cloying alcohol. One of the better Asian beers I’ve had probably because this is fresher and not made with glycerin as a preservative like Kingfisher and other Indian beers.
