3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
0.33l bottle shared with The tasting Crew. This is a light cloudy dark amber-red one with a nice small islandy off-white top. Smells quite nice with a dark sweet caramel, some red berries and fruity hops. Really nice taste on this. Itís caramelly sweet, lotís of dry grassy bitterness. Light dry in the mouth all the way, and itís average to soft on the carbonation with a light both dry and oily mouthfeel. Quite elegantly balanced. Some hints of sweet licorice in the aftertaste. Could easily drink this again. 18.10.2012

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled, shared by the OMH gang. Pours out in a brownish amber colour with a small creamy disappearing white foam. Crisp and fresh aroma of black cherries, grass, nuts and blood-oranges. Medium-bodied with a crisp and rather hoppy flavour of cedar-wood, grass and orange-peels with sweet undertones of red berries. Black cherries, toasted malts, nuts and orange-peels in the long aftertaste. Very nice, a hoppy and elegant amber ale, thatís quite rare.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at the brewery. Browny red/dark amber colour with off-white head. Aroma spicy and roasted, but like Hojicha, red roasted tea. Also quite hoppy bitterness, pine, resinous, b.o. Very prickly in the mouth and a very bitter finish.
