shoulderbroken (1849) - Tokyo, JAPAN - NOV 17, 2011
Draught at the brewery. Browny red/dark amber colour with off-white head. Aroma spicy and roasted, but like Hojicha, red roasted tea. Also quite hoppy bitterness, pine, resinous, b.o. Very prickly in the mouth and a very bitter finish.

worldbeertaste (1597) - AUSTRIA - JUL 13, 2011
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2012 Carbonated dark caramel colour with a nice red tint and a lasting creamy beige head. Smells of a refreshing orange and chocolate with yeast and malt. Medium crisp smooth body.. Tastes of light Chocolate, malt then sour feel (orange), with some hoppy nutty finish. The flip from sweet to sour is really impressive. This is one cracking ale.

TET (1542) - FINLAND - DEC 16, 2012
A sligthly red, brown beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma of toffee and some caramell malts, fruits, aromatic, wet exotic wood and some citrusfruits. Taste is sligthly toffeeish, wood, medium bitterness and thus the taste is quite dry, some citrusfruits. Medium bodied, quite smooth carbonation. Quite nice and not too sweet Amber Ale, the bottle is probably quite old, and thus not very fresh.

mzaar (1504) - Varberg, SWEDEN - JUN 6, 2013
Flaska @ Nami, Varberg.

Iced tea and biscuits nose with a muddy palate. Some minor malt astringency and a touch of diacetyl. Very mediocre beer.

jamestulloch (1224) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 10, 2012
Aroma: Bitter, bready aroma. Hints of cherry.

Appearance: Chestnut brown body. Small white head. Good lacing.

Taste: Roasted malts and berry fruits. Subtle coffee taste. Not overly complex, but nice balanced and very moreish.

Palate: Medium body. Light carbonation. Bitter finish.

Overall: Roasted malt flavours dominate the bitter hops. Well balanced taste.

IslandHaole (1091) - Yokosuka-Shi, Kanagawa-Ken, JAPAN - DEC 14, 2004
A slightly hazy medium dark Brown. Small beige head. Think "Bigfoot" at a low volume for the aroma, rich complex malts with just the right balance of the Cascade hop pine/citrus scent. Aggressive hops up front that like microscopic pit bulls, latch on to your taste buds and never let go. The malt flavors manage to sneak in the few scant openings between the hops teeth but make no mistake about it, this is a tribute in liquid to the love of Cascade hops!
