Flaska @ Nami, Varberg.

A sligthly red, brown beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma of toffee and some caramell malts, fruits, aromatic, wet exotic wood and some citrusfruits. Taste is sligthly toffeeish, wood, medium bitterness and thus the taste is quite dry, some citrusfruits. Medium bodied, quite smooth carbonation. Quite nice and not too sweet Amber Ale, the bottle is probably quite old, and thus not very fresh.

Deep plum aroma. Caramel malt, peach, floral hops, bittersweet finish. Elegant and well-rounded amber ale with quite a Belgian character.

A solid amber. One of those beers that would be good to introduce your macro loving friend to the world of good beer. Pours a beautiful amber and has a decent nose of thick malts. THe mouthfeel is light to medium and it has a a solid if slightly boring taste. As it warms the caramel becomes apparent (diacetyl?). Smooth and easy to drink, just not that complex

330ml bottle from Seijo Ishi in Shinjuku station. Poured into a shaker pint. Deep amber and rich brown color with a nice tan head. One of the darkest ambers I have experienced. Nice lacing for an amber. Nice prune, raisin aromas on the nose with vanilla, cinnamon, cardamon, toasted malt and caramel undertones. A bit of resin and pine needles come through as well. Nice balanced between malt sweetness with a touch of bitterness from the hops. Very well-balanced amber. Medium body with a nice medium dry finish.
