3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled@SBWF2013. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, caramelly and a bunch of citrus to it as well. Flavour is fruity, mild rice as well as some strange sweetness. Pleasantly balanced, but would probably suit a food table better than being drunk on it’s own.

550ml bottle (Ales By Mail) - shared by vastactiv - thanks!
Golden, slightly hazy, persistent head. Spicy rice pudding aroma. Total sorachi ace taste. Nice full palalte, smooth. Soapy. Too soapy for me. But I did like how it feels, even if I really dislike the coconut.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 16, 2013 Bottle dated March 2013. Lightly hazed gold with a short white head. Lightly estery nose, some rice hulls and grain husks and saccharine and some vegetable hop aroma like kale and maybe some turnip.Fruity in the nose too, but more like dried pineapple and lychee pieces. Malt is a bit rough. Light body. Watery in the finish. Smells like wallpaper glue after it opens. That all seems to evaporate away when this is paired with rich avocado and grilled chicken.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap at Churchkey. The pour is a clear orange with a small, white head. Thin, white layer sticks around for a moment. Pretty unassuming pour. Nose....uhh what is this? Big mango explosion with pineapple, coconut, and mandarin orange. Very rich and meaty fruits like jackfruit and mango flesh. As it warms it moves to nectar, honey, floral bouquet that is really something to cherish. Taste is extremely oily and rich...has a silky near butterscotch palate where you are really looking for diacetyl but there is none to be found. Rather it is ultra quenching and perfect in the palate like coconut oil cut by mandarin orange acidity. Almost faux oily richness. Really a superlative palate. I have a ton of notes here just trying to spit off the things that come to mind: mint, Spring day, nectar oil. This is incredible.

One-third pint, 6.4% abv., from the draft menu of guest ales at BrewDog Glasgow. Nicely served with a golden body and thin layer in a BrewDog glass. Taste of dry fruity hops assisted by mild lemon. Fresh and smooth fruity flavour with mango and herbal hops. Rounded fruit bitterness to the ending. Subdued oily palate. Medium bodied. Unusual taste profile, not easy to describe. Likable, 10.04.2012.
