3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Gold pour, white head. This is pretty damn good for the style. Yeasty, wheaty, some really nice flavors in a style that usually isnít good at all.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear Lucozade like colour with a bubbly white broken head. The aroma is honey malt leading to a weak bitter, vegetable like flavour. The palate is smooth and a little malty. Fine to taste, but I donít understand the high rating.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle shared at Deanís sticky table tasting thanks to Jmgreenuk. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of honey and grain, a little sick. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours straw yellow with thin head. Bread in the nose, balanced smooth and soft on the palate. Not much bitterness or carbonation. Not my favourite hop so the flavour not great for me.

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cold bottle. This cost £11Öwhat was I thinking? Maybe I was drunk at the time. Anyway, itís a nice beer - very different. Honey, spice, sake, whisky, vanilla. Reminds me of an Innis and Gunn beer, just 10 times the price and not quite as nice. Looks really good though.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
0.55l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a cloudy golden yellow one, absolutely packed with particles and a small light bubbly top. Really fruity on the nose with lots of citrus, grape and some cat pee. A bit "old" perhaps but nice enough. Itís average on the carbonation with a soft oily mouthfeel. Nice flavors. Well hopped, packed with the same citrus found in the aroma. A bit sharp, bitter almost zesty sting. Both taste and flavor almost likely squeezed through a juice-press after they have made un-sugared lemonade. Nice within a boring genre. 06.02.2013

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Hatachino Nipponia Golden Ale is definitely a quality beer. Nice cloudy wheat pour with a pillowy head. Aroma is pleasantly yeasty. Taste is a bit sour with a slight alcohol bite. A mild bitterness mellows it all out. Nipponia Golden ale is an overall pleasant brew.
