Fruity aroma with massive head. Laid back body with an interesting ’twist’ (orange peel). A nicely balanced brew.

Hazy dull amber with decent near white head. Definitely fruity. Like fake orange candy syrup. Not like a beer. Sweet up front and bitter orange peel on the finish. Not hoppy at all. Massive carbonation. Seems a little bretty actually. Almost sour/tart.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 04/2015
Aroma is rather sweet and heavy with caramel, some resiny hops and orange. Also some citrus. Flavour has grapefruit, fruity hops, resiny tones and caramel. Unusual IPA, but I seem to enjoy this. Heavy but still refreshing and not overwhelmingly sweet.

Draught@SBWF2014. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruity, spicy, some toffee and mild herbal notes. Flavour is very similar with a nice herbal finish.

Bottle from Tallinna Kaubamaja (€ 3,70). BB 04.2015. Pours hazy light orange with an off-white head. Nose is caramel candy and oranges, low grassy-spicy bitterness, gets grainier as it warms. Taste is pretty much the same with malts more prominent than hops, it’s got quite nice orange juice freshness, though without the sourness and very weak bitterness. Caramel present too. Both body and carbonation are maybe slightly more than medium, finish disappointingly weak. Overall it’s okay with great drinkability, I’ve quite liked it repeatedly as the first drink of the night despite it’s simplicity and more of an APA character.

Tap at SBWF2014. Amber color, good off-white head. Aroma has rice grainy notes and light fruits. Medium-bodied. Flavor is sweetish, simple fruityness. Very uninspiring ipa

Bottle from Stirchley Wines. Pours a rich orange colour. Nicely hoppy aroma. Taste could be hoppier for an IPA but there are pleasant hints of orange in there.

Bottle shared at Chrisso’s May 2014 tasting 25/05/2014. Translucent orange / golden coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is corn, pretty stale, some spicy hop and hint of mint. Flavour is composed of sweet corn and stale malts, some grassy hop, medium hop bitterness. Palate is fairly sweet, with moderate carbonation. Lingering spice. Showing some signs of age / travel.

Dark orange, with small white head. Gentle aroma, with the orange coming through more in the taste, alongside caramel malt, biscuit and mild spice. Refreshingly drinkable, with a bit of body and subtlety to it.

33cl bottle as pictured. Aroma of clementine peel oils and brown sugar. Pours orange clear with thick creamy head, that stays for a long time. Sweet, malty, fruity and mildly hoppy. Pleasant balance of malt/fruit/sugars and carbonation. Umami is a right thing to say here. Smooth, creamy, thick and rather oily. Pleasantly carbonated. For me, tasting typical Japan beers was absolutely not impressive, but this is totally different. Taste strongly reminds me of Kumquat. Super beer. Worth to try!
