Quite drinkable with lots of orange. Pours cloudy amber/orange with good head and lacing. Certainly more of an orange beer than an IPA. Light note of fermented orange funk. Finishes with light sweetness, not much bitterness. Some tangerine. Tap at Pizzeria Paradiso Dupont.

Interesting beer from one of the breweries I really enjoy. The Fukure Mikan oranges are subtle but lend a nice sweet citrus notes. I was hoping for more from the Tardif de Bourgogne hops, but there is bitter, dry finish on the back of the tongue at the finish. A nice, fruity IPA.

Mug’s Ale House, Brooklyn tap ($8): Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is orange, sugary malt, and a bit of hops. Taste is quite sweet with a sort of orange juice flavor. Kind of thick and malty. This was very much in the direction of an English IPA, but perhaps even sweeter. Not bad.

330ml bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo.04-06-2014.
In short: a citrusy ale.
Pours quite clear amber, with nice off white head. Moderate head retention, some lacing. Citrusy, caramel, malty aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste follows the nose, orange, caramel, light bitterness. Enjoyable.

355ml bottle, pours light golden brown with a small white head, nose is malty, english style malt with dried fruit, orange peel. Finish balances the malts and the fruit, it’s a little dry and mild bitter, balanced well. Average carbonation.

Bottle @ Chriso May 14 tasting. Pours gold with a deadened, musty caramel aroma, silky resinous hops in the taste with spice, cardamom, toffee, orange peel, malts.

Bottle:   Seems like a very stale or old orange in terms of flavor profile.   As someone mentioned, it does seem like a musty old English Pale Ale with a bit of stale fruitiness.   If this is a Fruit Beer, that fruit has gone stale.   Not bright.   Does have a sweetness that I could only describe as thick but not cloying.   Seems pretty full bodied.   Not a bright hoppy IPA with sweet orange bits... its more like a musty English Pale with stale and old orange flavors that are nearly gone.   Meh... looks good, smooth, but the nose and flavor profile leave a little to be desired.
