4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle, brand new to Omaha.
Pours a deep black, with only the slightest hints of ruby peeking through the edges. The head peeks at a quarter of an inch, and fades quickly to a wispy swirling head, leaving behind a thin webbing of lace.
Smell; the espresso really comes through right away. Very roasty, alomst charred coffee at first, but then fades a little to some chocolate and molasses.
Taste; as with the aroma the coffee hits right away, and for a litle while it’s hard to pick out the other flavors. As it warms though the coffee fades just enough to get some chocolate, molasses and raisins. The finish is all bitter dark roasted malts and coffee beans.
Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with a light smooth carbonation, and the drinkability is good.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is a very easy going stout. Clean espresso, and big smacks of hop. It leaves you wanting more, but more of what? I'm not sure. I could easily transfer to espresso martinis at this point, or head back to a dry lip-smacking porter. Its a fantastic beer and definitely worth seeking out. Well done.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from the LCBO. Pours an opaque black / brown, decent head that dies to a ring, small flecks of lace. Nose is light roasted malt, some minor coffee notes. Tastes sweet, chocolate, bitter, roasted malt, coffee beans and like coffee grounds at times, I like it though. One of the more smooth espresso stouts I’ve had.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
pretty good version of a coffee stout. I actually get a strong currant flavor which isn’t bad but I prefer more of a bitter roasted flavor especially sine this has espresso beans added. Huge down tick for me is almost $6 for a 330ml bottle! That is insane! Won’t buy again due to price but a very we’ll made stout.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Geruch leicht säuerlich mit Kaffeenoten. Im Geschmack kommt dann der Espresso klar durch, der wie ein Espresso auch nachhängt.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This beer pours a dark black color with a thick khaki head that had good retention and left great lacing around the glass. The aroma is espresso, dark coffee, chocolate, dark fruits, some ash. The flavor is dark roasted barley, dark roasted bitter coffee, charcoal, dark fruits, and some chocolate. I don’t pick up much hops and the mouthfeel is medium. For the price, this beer is not an every day drinker but it is worth at least one try.
