Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit sehr viel Schaum. Geruch leicht malzig fruchtig, blumig. Geschmack leicht fruchtig malzig, dezent herb, wenig exotisch fruchtig, dennoch gut trinkbaren Bier.

Darkish brown pour, light tan head. Only a faint aroma, some hops and floral notes. Taste has the usual IPA bitterness to it. Not quite as sharp as most others of the style. Mouthfeel is nice and tingly, not too heavy with the carbonation. Overall, it’s a little bit off as in IPA for me.

Avergae head. Floral smell. Hoppy flavor, some sugar, some grass and orange peel. Medium body. Not too dominating. A big step upwards from the japanese bleak lagers. An ale that competes with the good europeans.

Bottle. Rich golden red ale with a thick white bubbly head. Nose is grass, grapefruit, lemons and wood. Smooth and tasty in the mouth, giving some caramel, nuts, fruitiness (lemon, grape) and some light woods. Finish has a touch of alcohol in it, giving it warmth and some saltiness giving it a longer lasting finish.

Looking for something different from the plethora of IPAs at the moment, then here is a treat for the taste buds. Pours copper orange with delicate lacing and faint carbonation. Aroma is biscuit, toffee, honey, orange blossom, slight resin and cedar. A very malt forward beer, slightly sweet with more toffee and honey notes. Some woody, earth notes come through with the cedar as well as faint orange and noble hop accents from the hops. Some what musky long finish.

Tap. Pours hazy orange with a large off-white head and nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is woody, cedar yes, oranges, pine, caramel, lime zest. Flavor is similar, medium sweet, light bitter, cedar for sure, zesty, oranges with a lingering bitter finish. Fullish body for style actually, creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle label matches with this one. Poured a very hazy deep mandarin orange. White ring. First pleasant impression is that it feels nicely unfiltered. Tastes of aged blood oranges. Clean leather. Good stuff.
