Not my favorite style. Much too sweet for my tastes.

The beer pours a brown color with a cream-colored head. The aroma is heavy on the cream, with some lactose, chocolate and roasted malt mixed in. There is also a slight medicinal aroma which I am not really caring for. The flavor is more straightforward, with the basic characteristics of cream, lactose and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle. Tasty, sweet stout. Nice surprising beer from the land of the rising sun. Would drink again.

12oz bottle. Pours dark brown with small tan head. Aromas of roasted malt and chocolate. Flavors of roasted malts, chocolate, and a little bit of sweetness in the finish. Body was a little thin. Average stout.

330ml Bottle (from Brewdog.com) Light on the nose with some roasted malts, milk, chocolate and general sweetness.
Dark brown in appearance with a fairly thick looking, light brown head that has a foamy look to it and holds well.
Light roasted malts and some lactose kick things off, with some light chocolate and a bitter finish.
Light medium bodied with a smooth, mildly bitter feel and low carbonation (despite appearances). The beer was nice on the palate, if a little basic.

An alright tasting beer but not great if truth be told. It had all the characteristics of an English bitter and not a very exciting one at that. It was a little flat and as a result this made for slow drinking.

Pours brown with a tan head. Smells toasty with notes of coffee and lactose. Taste is has sweet roasted malts, sweet light roasted coffee, lactose and a little cola flavors. Body is med. Carbonation is low. Not overly sweet, but does have a sweet character about it. I think this is well balanced, nice and light sweet stout. Very pleasant to drink.

Bottle. Cloudy medium brown color with a tiny head. The nose is of milk chocolate, sweet roasted malts. The taste is very sweet, more milk chocolate, plums, yorkie bar artificiality. Hardly any roasted flavors or bitterness to cling to. Medium body, a bit syrupy. Overall, not my bag.

330 mL bottle. Well, first of all, this pours an entire glass of (light tan) foam. That said, there are aromas of molasses, dark fruit, malted milk balls. Flavor similarly has molasses and dark fruit, cocoa, but also rather smoky. Good, but still a bit off (and the foam doesn’t help).

From the bottle poured a dark brown brew with a thick brownish head that smelled like teriyaki sauce. It tasted sweet (duh) with very apparrent shouts of chocalate and coffee. I like it..
