Full bodied beer with sweet wheat flavor and beautiful dense foam top. It has a pleasant bitterness and unique spicy aroma with Orange Peel, Coriander, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, and Vanilla Beans. Complex yet soothing.

0.33l bottle shared with Inbreak @ Øltorget. This is a blurry orange golden one with a lacing small islandy just off-white top. Really spicy on the nose with a ton of cardamomcorianfer and ginger. Sweetness shines through the spices and hotel soap comes to mind. Quite different and not bad at all. Lots of flavor, and actually it’s not to spicy (at first). Though, the aftertaste is leaving a really strong gingerburn in the throat. It has a soft carbonation level and a really oily mouthfeel. I actually think bit tastes like fresh baked cardamom buns. Really interesting favors. Forget the part about it not being to spicy cause this is a spiced up beer! 24.05.2013

An incredible beer. Ingredients are balanced perfectly. Pours a beautiful orange-amber color with a light white head. Smells awesome, lots of berries, vanilla and orange. Taste is more vanilla, orange, and herby. Everything works together to create a very smooth drink. Some pepper in the finish. Great. Had on tap at Mill Valley Beerworks. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

11.2oz bottle for Father’s Day from car. Poured a deep dark burnt orange body with a smaller creamy beige head. Aroma was sweet, notes of honey, fruit cake, corn syrup, yeast, dry toast. Fuller body with soft to average carbonation and a milky coating mouthfeel that ends with a good amount of sweetness. Flavor is a bit drier than the aroma, molassess, corn syrup, fruit cake, bread crusts, yeast, old bubble gum. Solid beer but a bit big for a 90* day.

33cl bottle from Appellation Wines, cheers Ash! Totally the wrong time of year for the beer, sun was shining... sky was blue... and this smelled of Christmas. Aromas were big and boozy fruit cake and mixed spice, but I found this didn’t follow through and deliver the big flavours I was expecting form the aroma. Surprisingly well balanced and not the sweet finish I was (kind of) looking for. Still, a very interesting brew from a very interesting brewery.

33cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours amber with a lovely red/orange hue. The nose has cake mixture, then going into cinnamon and nutmeg. The taste is of more cinnamon and nutmeg but the dominant taste is more of treacle sponge pudding. The palate is medium bodied with creamy but tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall, a nice but even more interesting, beer.

Lots of spice comes through on the nose, coriander, cinnamon, vanilla. Pours orange with lots of white head. Tastes fairly sweet with some nice lingery spice on the end. Medium bodied and a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Overall fairly good.

Tap @ Black Bottle Fort Collins. Pours a bit hazy dark orange appearance with a tan head. Quite spicy, citrus peel, cinnamon, nutmeg, fairly sweet aroma. Fairly full bodied. Candied orange, cinnamon, coriander, zesty spicy flavor. A lot of spice going on. Overall not bad.

On tap at Black Bottle Brewery. Amber and clear with a white head. The aroma is bready malts, citrus fruit, sweet spices, and light vanilla. Similar flavor with light cinnamon and wheat malts. Medium bodied and smooth feel that hides the alcohol. Not too bad Japan.
