3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
8% 2014 edition. A festive ale brewed with Coriander, cinnamon, orange peel, vanilla beans, nutmeg & cardamom. A lovely red pour with a fast disappearing beige head. A really spicy body, like holiday baked goods. The taste is graham & biscuit with tons of spices. Pretty good. As it warmed up the spicing kicks into gear but remains subtle & balanced. Bitter finish but tasty.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Smells of nutmeg, vanilla, orange peel. Taste mimics the aroma with a bitter finish. Finish is a bit too cloyingly sweet.

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle to tulip
Pepper, coriander, nutmeg,
Amber with a very creamy white head with a few large particulates floating around. Soy, sickly syrup, and chemicals.
It’s an old bottle and it hasn’t aged well.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle - Vintage 2008 - Lots of spice and orange. Cloudy orange with a very rich white head. Orange syrup and spices. More like a barleywine, but not great.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, poured into pint glass. Dense light brown, hazy, thick, smooth light beige head. Aroma is spicy, and a little citrus, sort of like a mute mulled wine, but not cloying. Also notes of musty earth. Taste is weizen-sweet to start, but proceeds to a full, round bitterness. Body is full, carbonation mid, slight alco-burn. Nice winter beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Øltorget, august 3rd 2013. Hazy dark orange body, thin white head. Spicy coriander, cinnamon and vanilla aroma, taste is pretty dominated by the same spices, with light red fruit and dark sugar, malty aftertaste with clove, low bitterness. It’s ok but I probably wont have it again.

Bottle gift from Uncle Douglas, purchased at total wine. A very odd brew. Spice, orange peel, smoke, wood, nutmeg. It is good, but odd.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Bronze beer with a strong white head. The aroma is very well hopped, and the flavour is even more so well hopped with a big bitter and dry finish. Overall a nice beer.
