3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
2010 Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a huge, creamy beige head. Aroma is full of sweet bread spice and citrus zest, some fruity esters and light soapy notes. Flavor is big on coriander and cinamon up front, dusty grain, sweet malt, some orange peel, but it is not nearly as citrusy in taste as it is in aroma, a hint of vanilla and nice earthy nutmeg to the finish. Medium body, with a slick slightly booozy entry, small bubbled, but very blanketing and sharp carbonation. After blowing off all that foam, I’m suprised that this had any carbonation left at all but it is actually rather harsh. Fairly tasty brew, the mouthfeel is not so great, but it has a really nice finish and aftertaste with, sweet bread spice and vanilla.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a really clear deep copper - light brown with an average sized off white head that leaves several spots of lace on the glass. Aroma is nutmeg, orange peel, cinnamon, vanilla, coriander, and honey notes. Not overpowering from any ingredient and smells just like the ingredients used. Flavour is sweet honey, nutmeg, orange peel, coriander, moderate bitterness, and faint cinnamon. Tasty seasonal beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
8% 2014 edition. A festive ale brewed with Coriander, cinnamon, orange peel, vanilla beans, nutmeg & cardamom. A lovely red pour with a fast disappearing beige head. A really spicy body, like holiday baked goods. The taste is graham & biscuit with tons of spices. Pretty good. As it warmed up the spicing kicks into gear but remains subtle & balanced. Bitter finish but tasty.
