A dose of fresh ginger roots added to the brewkettle creates an intriguing mix of ginger, malt-sweetness , and citruslike aromas and flavors Hoppy dryness is very subdued with ginger-sweet-spicey notes dominating throughout to the very finish.

Bottle from somewhere, (forgot where) consumed at Haydn & Carol’s Tuesday 4th March 2014 Pours dark amber with white head. Texture wise this is quite thick in mouth. There is an initial sweetness but with a good bite, there is plenty of ginger, even so perhaps not as much as I was expecting, nonetheless it is a tasty beer. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

3rd Noble Beer Sangha: From bottle, thanks to Kat & Eric. Pour cloudy beige without head. Flavor dominated by maltiness as in under-attenuated new beer and some hints of ginger noted in bursts or in alternating sips. Troubling fusel alcohol notes in finish. Unfocused and/or travel weary.

Cerveza de gengibre, con un alto sabor a este elemento, cuerpo y con poca espuma, refrescante y suave. Si te gusta el gengibre esta es tu cerveza

Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Drukket hjemme i selskap med Elsa&Kristoffer 28 Aug 13. Gyldenbrun. Lavt skum. God ingefæraroma. Smaken er passe sterk ingefær. Tørr syrlig ettersmak. En av de bedre ingefærølene.

Draught at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur.
Opalescent amber appearance with a creamy tan head. Aroma of malt, honey, biscuit and of course the spicy ginger. The ginger is more powerful in the flavor but not too much. Sweet caramel with a spicy mouthfeel, some honey and fig. Well hidden 8% abv. Fine.

Bottle. Yeasty, sweet and doughy ale with just enough ginger to make it interesting without turning it into a novelty. Love ginger by the way!

Bottle sample at a tasting at avrashi’s. Thanks avrashi. Cloudy orange with floaties. Ginger, slightly spicy aroma. Ginger with bitter undertones taste, light body, sweetish finish. Not amazing.

Copper pour with big head. Aroma of caramel malts, fruity ginger oils. The taste is caramel malty, with a defined ginger component, and some slight yeasty hops and apricots.
