It has a dark amber brown body with orange highlights. On top sits tall foamy off white head with very good retention and makes good lacing on the glass. The aroma has heavy hit of ginger in sweet fruity and bready malt with some funky yeast and spices. The flavor is true to its aroma. It has a solid medium body with a strong spicy ginger presence with a touch of allspice. This is layered over a sweet bready and fruity malt with a note of apple juice, citrus and a touch of funky yeast. The spice and mild alcohol presence warms the palate and the finish shows a light touch of hops. The texture is slick and lively with nice active carbonation.

Bottle at KØ14. Mild ginger aroma. Cloudy red amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is caramelly with a late ginger note. Sweetish, but partly balanced by the ginger.

Pours caramel in colour with a thick delicious head that lasts long. Aroma of ginger hits straight away in a smooth subtile way, some licorice, lime and soy-sauce in the notes behind the ginger. Taste is a littlebit sweet in the beginning but is taken over by a good bitterness quickly, and has a dry ending. Really good and interesting beer.

An interesting one with a bit of that special something in. Some sweetish moments combined with spices and even that promoted ginger. Enjoyed that special bit of pepper in the back. Good one.
