COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dose of fresh ginger roots added to the brewkettle creates an intriguing mix of ginger, malt-sweetness , and citruslike aromas and flavors Hoppy dryness is very subdued with ginger-sweet-spicey notes dominating throughout to the very finish.

Rich and sweet aroma with a distinct note of ginger, spices and malt. The taste is just as intense with the same ginger flavour, it’s quite spicy. Thick and pretty sweet with a subtle bitterness.

36 cl bottle @ home. 7% version, bottled 01/2011, BBE 10/2011
Aroma has lots of ginger, cinnamon and also some other spices. Somehow it feels like bun and gives a feeling of Christmas. Flavour is also strong on ginger. Some cinnamon and something that makes it feel like belgian ale, maybe yeast? A bit stinging finish with the spices. Very spicy, unique and good!

33 cl bottle.
Pours cloudy amber colour with medium head. Aroma of distinct ginger and other spices like cinnamon, light malts, vegetables and caramel. Flavour of malts, spices, nuts, some yeast and cellar notes. Surprisingly balanced and the spiciness is not too dominating. Could possibly be a good winter seasonal.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a hazy amber colour with a large, frothy, white head. Aroma of strong ginger, pepper and other spices. Flavour of quite heavy caramel malts, bitter hops, strong ginger, cinnamon, pepper and some grassy notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and a dry, spicy, malty finish. Quite sweet and Christmassy.

330mL bottle poured a nice amber color with 1 finger of white head that settled to some nice lacing. Mild aroma of ginger and lightly roasted malts. Taste is malty sweetness with a hint of ginger and some citrusy hop bitterness in the finish. This is nicely balanced with medium body and nice carbonation. This is a true ginger beer, unlike many of the other concoctions that claim to be ginger beer, but are more like ginger ale with alcohol.

Ideal for spicy food. I will hunt this down the next time I have Thai!

Poured a cedar/caramel color with a white head. Huge ginger aroma, with a a taste of crisp ginger, that isn’t as overpowering as the aroma would have suggested. You get a little of the malt, but overall a nice balance of ginger, that lingers on the palate for a bit after each sip.

Pours a clear, deep amber with a thick tan head. Ginger and malt aroma, adding a bit of sweetness on the tongue.

330ml bottle. Type your typical ginger type beer. Full copper and walnut colour with an even line of tan foam. This looks every bit as good as it smells and tastes. Caramel malt dominates with a hint of ginger. Full body and you only get a bckground taste of ginger which is good.
