What a treat. Cloudy brown pour with a smooth, bronze hazy body. Flavor has mild hops and a hint of ginger.

Pleasant ale arome, not really getting much ginger. Rich roasty body. Very full and roasty. Pleasant ginger in the mouth, but very subtle. Smooth and moussey texture. Very nice beer, and doesn’t give any hints of its strength.

Bottle @ SBWF 2012. Dark amber color. Sweet, ginger, mild spicy, faint perfume in aroma. Nice roasted malts, mild ginger, sweetish but not sticky. Very well balanced. Spiciness of ginger doesn’t overwhelm everything. I’m bit surprised in a pleasant way ’cause ginger ales are not really my thing.

Surprisingly awesome ginger ale. Dark murky amber body with a huge finger of yellowish head. The nose has as a mild ginger spice and a mild hop up front with a few roasted aromas as well. The first sip is rather sweet with big caramel And candied ginger with light citrus. The finish is quite dry and somewhat warming....now realize its 8%. Overall well balanced and tasty for sure

Aroma: Smelling of sweet coco-nut and ginger.
Appearance: A clear light amber beer, a white head with little lacing and some curtains.
Taste: Starting with sweet brown bread, ginger marmalade and spices.
Palate: Little carbonation, soft with a medium body and light dry finish.
Overall: Rather sweet and spicy, but that was probably expected.

bottle from whole foods. Pours hazy copper with minimal whitish head. There is some ginger aroma with some malt sweetness. Taste does remind me of ginger ale and is on the sweet side. This is certainly one to try but not a six pack to want.

Bottle pours orange brown with off-white two finger head. Aroma of tangerines, ginger, caramel, floral. Moderately bitter and sweet. Medium bodied and lively. Okay, but not something I would regularly drink

Ginger isn’t noticebale in the aroma. White head, mirky red/brown color. Taste has a subtle ginger edge along with a minor bit of ginger burn.

Some ginger right at the start but not quite as strong as I had expected from the name and some of the cheaper ginger style beers I have tried previously. I can detect a good malt base and there is a touch of spice and hints of caramel and some light brown sugar notes.
Hazy orange amber colour with a foamy tan white head on top that is about two centimetres tall and holds very well.
Nice malts to start with followed up with a lot of spice and ginger along with some nice hints of brown sugar and even some caramel from the nose. Ginger and spice is very slightly more pronounced than some of other flavours. Surprisingly I even detected some light hops and citrus.
Medium with medium carbonation and touches of bitterness and a fair bit of spice. The flavours are all well balanced and there is a clean, wet finish to the beer.

Not as offensive in the ginger department as I had feared with all the flavours coming out well balanced and making a refreshing beer as a result.

Draft at the Khyber. Dark amber pour with a slim white head. Candied ginger. Sweet hop bite. Harsh finish. I like the taste of ginger but not so much the taste of this beer.
