2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours a relatively hazy copper color with a smallish white head. Aroma says ginger as does the taste. It was really too much for me. I found the ginger to be over-whelming.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Cloudy amber with a small white head. Aroma had some carboard, ginger, and citrusy notes. Flavor, citrus and ginger, some spice to it as well. The bottle I had was probably a little on the old side, but it wanít bad.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle sample with Peanut at Dilly Deli. Poured hazy amber with an average frothy off-white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate complex spice, citrus and ginger aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium spicy sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Hazy brown-amber body under a light white head. Fresh ginger alongside a hint of lemon juice in the malty-sweet aroma. The flavor features strong crystal malt flavoring with lemony ginger. Some citrus rind hops in the finish. Light carbonation compliments an above-average mouthfeel. I would have found this been to be more refreshing had it less sweetness and more zippy hops or other spices. Orange zest anyone?

3.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
For the type, this beere is delicious. Almost no aroma, pours a deep amber color, with a slightly fizzy head. The ginger comes through enough to taste nice and is very refreshing. I had it from a new labeled bottle in proper glassware at Suzuki Sushi in Rockland Maine.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Copper colored with a big malty aroma and hints of ginger. The ginger isnít overwhelming but it is noticeable. Large sips get a little astringent. Is it possible to be unique AND boring?

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Copper color with a taller light caramel colored head. Aromas of caramel, pumpkin, pineapple, flan and only a very mild spice component. Very smooth and slightly oily on the palate. Light dark caramel mixes with with a mild ginger flavor that bites slightly when one gets to the finish. Actually fairly simple, but a well developed ginger brew. Too many are overpowering and donít have the malt to back up all the ginger. This one has just a mild flavor and bit. Quite full and refreshing.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
One of my new favorites. Head pours thick and with a slightly reddish tint. No single taste or aroma is overwhelming, but the ginger shines through and wakes up the whole palate. A bunch of yeast was present in the bottle, leaving a haze in my second glass. Pour carefully.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured a deep and hazy copper/sepia that made my Hoegaarden glass resemble a root beer barrel candy while a creamy, ecru head lasted above. Ginger and hopcit aroma with a mildly sour wheat presence. Gingerbread flavor with licorice and orange rind over a full malt base. Creamy yet tingly mouthfeel, with a finish that can get a bit phlegmy (thick, sour and astringent). Intriguing and tasty now (mid-summer), but this would make an interesting yet appropriate choice for the winter holidays as well.
