COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dose of fresh ginger roots added to the brewkettle creates an intriguing mix of ginger, malt-sweetness , and citruslike aromas and flavors Hoppy dryness is very subdued with ginger-sweet-spicey notes dominating throughout to the very finish.

The aroma has yeast, ginger, caramel, malt, and hops. The appearance is hazy brown with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thick. Overall this is very good!

On tap at the Bavarian Lodge in Lisle, IL., and dispensed to fluted stemware with a clear, rosey/copper color, silky, off white foam to the head, and nice strands and web-like cling to the lacing. The nose presented smooth malt, sweetness, light spice as ginger, soft but mature esters as berry & cherry, but no noticeable citrus imo. The flavor added to the aroma notes some light cracker, low bitterness, medium body, better than soft carbonation, a little syrupy texture, and just a touch of alcohol. Ginger didn’t seem to be the star of the show to me, but this brew was pleasantly flavorful nonetheless.

Pours a hazy gold with no head. Smell is primarily Ginger. Tastes sort of like a fancy wheat. Ginger taste is certainly present throughout. It’s ok.

Unique aroma. Taste is very strong and overpowering with the ginger but is not bitter and still drinks smooth.

Pleasant smell - sugar, spice, flower. Sip - and my first instinct is to spit it out. This party in my mouth is very unpleasant: fuzzy, sweet, bitter - you can definitely locate ginger and caramel, but together they just feel like hangover.

Draft. Red ruby pour with some light white head. Full ginger aroma with tart fruit tones. Dark fruit, some light sweetness in flavor, spices dominate specifically ginger.

bottle. Datestamp: "G.11.05". Thin, off-white head. Fades to near-minimal. Leaves little lace. Hazy amber color. Some bubbles on the side of the glass. Nice ginger flavor. Maltier than I expected. But the ginger is still present and pleasant. Some cinnamon. Decent light sweet spiced taste. Light, crisp carbonation. Bigger body. Longer spice aftertaste. Interesting brew... Would be pretty awesome with sushi. Not sure how fresh this is because of the cryptic date-stamp, though, but I have a feeling it’s not very... I’d really like to try this fresh or on tap, I bet this would be way better if it was hoppier and more assertive. Kind of a weird, sticky / milky texture to the aftertaste.
