3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
3rd Noble Beer Sangha: From bottle, thanks to Kat & Eric. Pour cloudy beige without head. Flavor dominated by maltiness as in under-attenuated new beer and some hints of ginger noted in bursts or in alternating sips. Troubling fusel alcohol notes in finish. Unfocused and/or travel weary.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario. Rich orange copper in colour with a thin but lasting beige head, good lacing. The aroma is of soap, light sweetness, some gingerbread, candy. The flavour is of citrus, a fair amount of ginger, grassy, good amount of sugary sweetness. Sweet mouthfeel, medium/light body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, sweet with some ginger spice. I like this, quite refreshing stuff. Well done.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Intense viscous beginning. Dark malt, spicy ginger, not easy to drink. The spicy ginger is there, but not sharp. The malt covers it well, but is for me a bit too present. The aftertaste is a mix of sweetish malt and spicy ginger with a nice fine bitterness. For me a bit too intense sweetish-malty. The ginger is too much in the background....

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Another great Hitachino beer. Pours a cloudy orange. Smells of ginger and spices. Tastes great, lots of ginger all around, with a fruitiness and herbiness as well. Paired with tuna poke, beer is a bit crisper. Had in the bottle.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Served at room temp, it’s a clear copper colour with a 2 finger head of foam.
Ginger and honey in the nose. There’s another spice here, I reckon it’s nutmeg. Nice aromas going on.
Ginger first, honey sweet flavours second, nutmeg brings up the rear. Sight hop bitterness here but that isn’t really needed for me to like this brew.
Smooth smooth mouthfeel. Very creamy. Oh and the foam is long lasting and there’s awesome lacing.
In plain words, this is very good.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
"from notes: Smells great, fresh cut ginger and other spices. subtle hops. Flavor nice as well, but the way too overcarbonated feel takes a touch off the flavor as well. Too bad, this would have been good. Maybe infected, who knows, but at $7, I likely won’t be trying again."

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Aroma is primarily ginger. Appearance is a clear dark medium amber with a small 1/2 finger light tan head. Taste is a milky ginger muddiness with a slight bitter finish. Palate is average. Overall eh ... I’d not recommend it.
