Bottle from Paul, likely old. Smells like rice, the taste is like tar, terrible.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours a bright golden orange with a nice head. The nose is malt dominant and perhaps a bit sweet - maybe orangey. The taste has more orange or red fruit with a malty backbone. The palate is medium bodied with a creamy/crunchy texture and a refreshing bitter finish. Overall, a nice beer - a bit like a well made bitter.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Et godt friskt øl, noe utradisjonellt på lukt, men godt og friskt på smak. Ølet har en ettersmak jeg ikke helt greier å plassere, men dog godt.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Mild aroma of alcohol, yeast, sweet fruit and earth. Pours like an amber with nice head. Sweet in an almost artficial way. Surpricingly thick.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
"Please enjoy the rose pink color" (yes, that’s what the label on my bottle says). Ehr… what? What’s pink about this one, apart from the label? It pours a clear body with a medium amber colour (without even a hint or pink) with an egg white coloured head (no pink here either) that quite quickly reduces to film. Some lacing is left on the glass. The aroma is of moderate intensity, it’s definitely malty with sweet caramel notes and pale malts, but also some generic fruity notes, and not surprisingly (this is a Kiuchi beer after all) spicy notes, I think I get mainly liquorice-like anise. Finally some herbs. The taste is moderate sweet, and the bitterness in the finish isn’t firm enough to balance the sweetness, and I end up thinking that this is just a tad too sweet. Moderate flavours of sugary caramel, sweet fruits, spices and alcohol. The mouthfeel is nice, all the sweetness yields a close to full body with an oily texture, moderate carbonation. Not bad, but I won’t buy it again.

Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Copper clear, white head. Smells of caramel, malts, rice?, i’m not sure about the rice but what else could it be? Medium sweet, malty, strange flavors i can’t identify. Moderate bitter. This is a strange thing; flavors are quite off what you normally get from any beer at all. I didn’t enjoy it that much but gives some points for going totally outside the box

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
35 cl bottle from vinmonopolet Vika. Pours clear golden with a medium white head that leaves quite quickly. Strange aroma of cleaning products ? Infected ? Sweet and candylike taste. Low carbonation, light body. Not good.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Acidic rice and toffee nose. Malty with notes of cookies and nuts. Oily finish. Some complex notes but still find it boring to taste
