Medium-bodied; Sweet-tart orange flavour with strong coriander seed freshness. Aftertaste clean and crisp-fairly decent! I had this bottle at the Winter Party at Oakes' place in Toronto, Canada on 05-December-2003. frylock (1030), Buffalo, New York, USA

The head was very big but also very thin and was gone quickly. Aromas of malt and sour citrus. Also some herbal character. Sweet, with a lingering sweet aftertaste. Crisp on the palate. irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 22, 2003 A very good take on a German-style hefe. A fine aroma of banana and cloves, and a subtle citrus note. The flavor is light and crisp, and finishes with more of the citrus. A very good beer. Hugerat (432), somerville, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 2, 2003 Not bad, though it really lacks much of the complexity that makes German wheat beer so good. Fairly fizzy with large head. Some banana notes and a little citrus. Not enough yeast in this beer. wunderbier (1271), Tampere, Finland
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 4, 2003 11 oz bottle, hefe glass. Large frothy head is white and slowly diminishing. Body is a deep hazy orange with dense, tiny particles and several very large particles. Almost looks like orange juice. Toasted grain malt, earthy yeast, banana esters, clove aromas are all present. There's another stong spicey aroma that I cant' quite place. Mayber coriander or ginger. Fairly complex aroma for a hefeweizen. Flavor starts with a warm sweetness with light acidity and end with a lightly acidic sour apple taste. Lingering flavor. Medium-full body is well rounded and creamy. Soft carbonation finishes it all off. The bottom line is: this is an interesting take on hefeweizens and should be tried at least once.
