3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle from Glug, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. A strange wit with what tastes like aniseed, nutmeg and cardamon coming through amongst the usual light wit flavours. Not sure I’m diggin this to be honest.

Nice orange citrus flavor up front. Ends with a dry, crisp epervecents . This white ale brewed in Japan of all places, is quite fine. Cheers!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours to a deeply hazy yellowish straw colored body with a thin starch white head. Aroma of coriander and orange juice with straw and wit yeast. The flavor is wheaty with light orange and subtle coriander. The yeast is light too. Medium light body that is refreshing and nicely textured. Nice carbonation pop.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330 ml bottle from Seijo Ishii. Pours white-pale, almost like apple juice with a small white top that is gone fast. Aroma is quite zesty, has also some coriander and fruits. Leaves quite spicy impression. First sip reveals some palate-cleansing thin carbonation that mixes well with the orange-peel and quite cold temperature I am drinking this beer at. There is some sweeter malt body with fruity yeast notes - but sweet citrus is a ruler. I understand there is also some orange juice inside, it is even possible to understand it from the taste. Taste itself is not long, after this snappy refreshing first bite, there is only some faint sweetness and fruitiness left in my mouth - and the aftertaste is perhaps a bit watery. A good beer.

Hazy amber with no head. Aroma is sweet and a little spicy. Flavour is sweet with a little citrus and spice. Can’t detect the coriander but getting the nutmeg. Interesting, but certainly lacking a bit of bite.

Finally got around to paying the 5 dollars for this. It would be a great go to session beer if it weren’t ridiculously expensive. I could taste the orange and the spices, but they didn’t feel gimmicky to me. The belgian flavors are light, which adds to the value as a easily drinkable beer but also takes away from it by itself. Not much of an aftertaste either. I do like the "all in one" idea they made with this, though the final product slightly suffers from being a bit too thin
