The menu said it was a Hefe Weizen, but not so according to Ratebeer. Poured a pale gold with almost no head. Not sure if the lack of head was due to the odd Hitachino branded glass I was given. Lively mouthfeel with hints of pineapple and coriander in the flavor. Bit of an unpleasant aftertaste. Not bad, but not something I will reach for again. Bottle - Brick Store Pub - Decatur, GA

Bottle @ home picked up at Argonaut Denver. Pours a cloudy yellow orange appearance with a white and some sediment in the bottom. Somewhat spicy, coriander, orange zesty, dry wheat aroma. Cinnamon, coriander, orange citrusy, a bit juicy, sweet wheat flavor. Last time I had this it was pretty old, so I was pleasantly surprised by this nice wheat beer.

One finger head, white, mostly diminishing, light golden color, cloudy, slight malt with fruity aroma, oily mouthfeel, almost an orange zest flavor. Overall it is a tasty beer. A little on the sweet side.

Pours a beautiful golden-straw with a creamy off white head. Complex aroma of lemon, grass, spice, ginger, and a huge floral bouquet. Taste does not disappoint! Begins sweet with lightly toasted malts that mix with orange and lemon. The finish is dry and spicy. Very smooth on the palate and I definitely want to keep drinking more. Maybe the best Wit I’ve ever had and it comes from Japan.

Very interesting citrus and nutmeg flavors make it a unique, satisfying belgian white with a distinct japanese personality.

Tap at Popeye, Tokyo. Hazy yellow colour with a white head. Long lasting lacing. Aroma of soap, yeast. Sour flavour of wheat and yeast.

Soft apple on the nose. Not very ale like though. Has a slight citrus taste. Not impressed.

12oz bottle. Pours hazy, pale golden color with minimal head but decent carbonation. Aroma is fruity, wheat, with some mild citrus. Taste is sweet with some spice. Coriander, pepper, and some orange peel.

Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Nice full bodied wheat beer. Crisp and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
