In 33 cl cristal bottle. Really nice and citic beer. Notes of orange and nutmeg. Very soft and refreshing. Invites to continue drinking. Combines excellent with Sushi!!!

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a mug. The appearance was a nice looking hazy/cloudy yellow to orange color with a fairly decent one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. The lacing was there and slid right on into the body. The smell had some decent Belgian styled spices with a light coriander, nutmeg, and orange peel. The taste ends up being somewhat sweet and spicy with a nice lightness running all around. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Overall, not a bad witbier, its just a tad above average to me and worthy of having again.

Pours with a thick, velvety head two fingers deep. Pale white-yellow with some filaments. Smells spicy. First impressions are orange juice and strong yeast flavors. Subtle nutmeg and herbal notes. Decent body; very smooth (almost flat) on the finish. Interesting.

Bottle at home from backlog notes 07. Pours a hazy yellow color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have orange and lemony citrus, coriander, additional spices, pale malts, crisp, clean, just not very exciting.

Aroma: some wheat, green tea notes ?, light bread malts, some orange. Appearance:hazy pale gold, medium frothy white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: light body, some bitters coming up, wheat, some tea flavours. Overall: interesting Witbier, somewhat unorthodox palate and aroma. Bottle from BottleDog Kings Cross, Holborn.

The aroma doesn't have as much citrus as a white ale should and the color is more of a pale ale than a white, probably due to bottle conditioning. There are some citrus notes in the palate and they do linger for a while. Overall I would say that this beer doesn't really fit the white ale style as much as I would call it a pale ale with a hint of citrus, although still a decent beer. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10
