Aroma of vanilla and coriander. Color is yellow/gold with a two-finger foam. Very nicely blended flavors of biscuit, coriander, orange and wheat. Lingering sugary caramel on the finish. Overall, this is a delicious and full flavored brew from Japan. Well done!

Bottled. ive had two bottles in 20 minutes ,its a bit subduded =was expecting more balls ’. the head lasts five seconds and that is symbolic of the whole experience, the palate is tart , dry and spicy sweet , notes of aprICOT and all that shit but a bit soulless.

11.2 oz bottle, poured into a tulip glass at approximately 45 degrees F. A: Pours a cloudy deep golden straw, and forms roughly two fingers of white head that dies swiftly to a ring. Carbonation flows continuously from the bottom of the glass. S: Funk swirls out of the aroma first, almost leading me to wonder if this is actually a saison rather than a wit. Citrus and spices follow, wreathed in the mustiness, and a very faint touch of wheat brings up the rear. T: Wow, that’s citrus - this beer is extremely heavy on the orange notes. The musty funk from the scent carries through to the taste as well, as if one is drinking orange juice that is just past it’s "drink by" date and is starting to turn sour. Some spice swims far off in the distance of the flavor profile, though I’d be hard-pressed to pull individual spice notes out from the blanket of sour orange juice. At the finish, there’s a distinct carbonation sharpness and bite. M: Light and highly carbonated, this is a sharp, dry beer. O: Were this beer classified as some form of saison, I’d be all about the sourness that’s present. It seems a bit out of place for a witbier, though. I can appreciate why this is rated as highly as it is, given the tendency towards appreciation for sours/wilds and intense flavors. I find this to be a very simple, club-you-over-the-head-with-a-single-flavor beer, which is not what I’m looking for in any Belgian style. Not my favorite wit.

Bottle from Waitrose. Poured a hazy yellow, with a dense white head. Aroma of lemon zest, coriander and ginger. Peal in the flavour, with some bread and banana. Finish was wheat, straw and soft fruit.

Bottle from Waitrose. Hazy yellow body with a thin white head that quickly fades. Lively fizz. No lacing. Aroma of straw, lemon and orange pith. Flavour of bitter lemon, coriander, spice and blood orange. Thin body with a lightly. oily texture. Lively fizz. An interesting beer.

Bottle, from Waitrose. Cloudy lemon gold, thin but lasting white head and gentle condition. Muted lemon citrus and a low spiciness in the nose, some yeasty phenols as it warms. Full bodied and slightly sweet initially in the mouth, becoming slightly citric with hints of lemon, some yeastiness and finally a peppery spiciness. Finish has a delicate sweet lemon note followed by a chalky yeastiness and a lingering spice note.

(Hitachino Nest White Ale) Bottle 330 ml at home, from a trade with torriman, thanks! Into a tumbler, ABV 5.5% Pours a pale golden yellow beer, slightly hazy, with a small and thin white head on top, with average retention, leaving light lacing around the glass. Aroma has faint wheat, orange peel, orange juice. Taste has coriander, some other spices too, orange peel. Mildly sweet but very refreshing. Medium thin body, good carbonation, a bit oily on the palate. Quite good.

Pours hazy straw with a short, short-lived white head, no lacing. (3/5) Nose is mild wheat, citrus, coriander. (7/10) Taste is mild sweet, mild bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, mildly bitter finish. (4/5) Fairly decent Belgian witbier. The orange presence is pleasant and works well with the soft carbonation. (15/20)

33cl bottle from Waitrose, Bracknell. A cloudy pale amber pour with a fast fading white head; orange peel and coriander aroma; soft fruity taste, with the orange coming through; the orange juice makes the finish rather sticky, with some very gentle spice inthe background. A pleasant enough witbier - a change from the standard Belgian examples.

Bottle, 330ml. A cloudy pale golden colour with no head. Aroma of sweet orange. clove, wheat. Yep, smells like a wit. Flavour is a bit lacking; a little sourness leading to wheat, a little orange and lemon. Way over carbonated. Some coriander in the finish.
