[ Trade by Alex420 ]. Clear medium to dark orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, spicy, anis seed. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

11.2 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy dark orange with a light yellow head. Fruity and orange like aroma. Flavour is caramel malty, quite solid sweet and slight spiced. Just before the finish it has a liqourice like note. Clearly taking some flavours from the sake barrels. Lovely flavourful. Finish is a lingering fruity and barrel like flavour.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes fo caramel as well as lighter notes of soap and rice. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, wood, and alcohol, the latter leaves a slightl burn in the throat. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Pours a hazy, amber golden with a dense, beige head. Very refined, woody aroma. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel and some distinct, woody accents bedore a fairly bitter finish. Excellent! (Matured in sake casks with lots of hops = Belgian??) 171207

Bottled@SBWF2013. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel, some grains, mild toffee as well as some raisins. Flavour is fruity, floral, caramelly and quite strong on the herbal side.

Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel and spices with notes of dried fruits.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty slightly oaky aroma. Fruity malty woody oaky flavor with some sourish hints. Fruity malty warming finish with some oaky hints in the aftertaste.

Bottle from Vinens Verden. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are dominated by anis, fruits, caramel, malt and hops.

My 7600th. Rating. Bottle @ Odense Summer Tasting, 2011. Pours unclear orange with a small creamy white head and lacings. Nose is sweet and malty. A bit of tartness from the barrel. Caramel, vague hops and a touch of alcohol. The Sake is recognizable.

Cloudy amber brown beer with a thick slightly off white head. Rich beer, slightly sour but not at all acidic. Creamy palate. Aromatic and slightly bitter malt and sake flavours. A woody tone rides alongside. Very flavoursome and lip smacking.
