Commercial Description:
Pilsner (or "Pils") originally came from the Bohemian city of Pilsen and was aptly created by a Bavarian brewer. Meanwhile all The Czech and Germany has grown familiar with the delicately bitter flavoucaur. Pilsner has always been a firm favourite in Czech Republic. Our hoppy Premium Hoavener is brewed strictly in accordance with the traditional Pilsner brewing method and has an original wort of 7.5%. Only top-quality Zatec hops are used in its manufacture. Its bold colour and firm head make it easily distinguishable from other beers.

Hanoi location. Deep gold. Soft carbonation. Fluffy head. Big rich saazy nose with lots of deep, tangy malts. Hoppy and moderately bitter. Medium bready, slightly doughy malts and a long hoppy finish. A sample at the Mui Ne location wasn’t nearly as hoppy, had butter issues and would have scored much lower.

Draft @ brewpub. Gorgeous coppery golden-orange with thick head, decent retention. Aroma is bursting with hops. Has a pleasantly pungent, spicy and deliciously inviting aroma. Quaffable palate. Really floral, herbal hops here but is balanced and has good body. Excellent rendition, as hoppy as an IPA.

Draught at Hoa Vien Brauhaus, Saigon. Pours golden with creamy white head. Pleasant floral aroma and the flavour is malt, fruit and some spices. Clean and crisp with light bitterness in the finish. A solid brewed pils.

Draught at HoaVięn Brähaus, Hanoi location. Lightly hazy golden, small creamy head. Rather neutral aroma. Medium dry with light bodu and rounded mouthfeel. Despite it’s subdued hop aroma it blasts away into a resiny, really bitter finish. Well made!

went to the brewpub. a nice lively place with the futball game on. strange to have vietnamese food in such a germanesque surroundings but it works. one of the better beers i had on my trip. golden brown with a nice frothy head, spicey sweet nose with a flowery back feel. toasted malted crunch on the tongue with biscuit flavors and a subtle bitter hop ending. better then the lion brewpub.
