10 litre polypin of Bright Beer purchased from brewery. Added Edinburgh Ale Yeast and sugar to give secondary fermentation. Racked to rigid homebrew cask.
Aroma & Taste: citric hop (lime). Finish: lengthy bitterness. Overall: Top quality English bitter. I recommend adding yeast and sugar to provide carbonation if purchasing ’bright’.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at the Coach and Horses, Weatheroak Hill, Alvechuch. Poured a clear medium amber with a big thick white, typically English bitter head. The aroma is a malty fruit combo! The flavour is medium to strong bitter, with creamy malt and a smooth creamy slightly fruity palate. I’m not so sure about the bitterness in the aftertaste, but I think it’s growing on me!
