2008-09-28. Lightly hazy golden body with a decent foamy white head. (3+) Odd fruity note to a hoppy aroma is interesting, light gras, yeast and wet grass/vegetation over top of sweet orange citrus, hints of earthy cocoa come out of left field! (6+) Similar flavours, odd sweet vegetation, sweet and bitter citrus, interesting earthy undertones. (6+). Average palate is on the thin side. Very different, bit odd, but actually rather nice. Interesting. Bottle Shared by DuctTape

Cask at GBBF08. Nutty aroma and flavour. Almost clear copper colour. OK white head. The flavour is quite nutty, some sweet walnut. Thin mouthfeel but good flavour.

Cask at GBBF 08. Gold, thin beige head. Looked in good nick when poured. Digestive biscuits on aroma. Biscuits in mouth too. Pleasant if you like a biscuity bran-y bitter.

Golden colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is cookies, malts, some wood. Flavour is wood, some slight notes of smoke and quite much sourness. Mild caramel. Bigtime bitter grassy and wooden finish.
