Bottle. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly hopped and toffee, and the flavour is relatively dry, slightly caramel and toffee with a hint of sourness. Overall a reasonable beer.

Inte den arom eller smakrikaste ölen men knte meningen heller. Bra balans mellan sötma och syrlighet och beska. Fyllig kropp för 4.2

Tall 500ml bottle. Best Before 30Aug15. Very natural looking ale. Pale, light amber color. Thick foam. Pine aroma, hints of citrus. Nose is heavy on the hops. Crisp, pale grains, zesty bite, loads of caramel. Finishes with a zesty tingle, notes of pine straw, a hint of toasted grains. It is a fantastic, hearty English Bitter. (4221)

Dobry Bitter z niewielka piana jak to w brytyjskich bitterach. Kolor jasno bursztynowy, i metny lekko. Troche drozdzy bylo na dnie. Dodaly posmaku wytrawnego piwu. Gozkawe dosc solidnie. Zwlaszcza koncowka jest zdecydowanie gozka.

500 ml. bb Aug 29, 2014. Pours mostly clear, burnt orange with a lasting film of meringue on top. Nose is earthy spiced caramel, apple and a hint of orange. Tastes of dark toffee, apple with the bitter pith, evergreen resin, toasted walnut and a bit of earthy orange zest. Light-medium body is smooth with medium carbonation. Well balanced by a crisp finish.

Bottle, from Asda, Hull. Gold, fluffy and lasting white head and fine condition. Gentle yeasty nose with a slight melon fruitiness and a light citrus hop note, delicate yeast bitterness extends into the mouth with a touch of hops and a low nuttiness, finish is restrained and bitter with some lingering yeastiness

500ml bottle from Appleyards, Shrewsbury. Pours golden with a sweet malt aroma, light bitterness and sweet malts in the taste with a cool citrus way at the back. A quaffer.

Bottle. Bready aroma with hints of grassy hops. Pours golden blond. Tastes earthy with hints of sweet malt and stale bread with tired hops lingering. Bottle says it’s good for another 3 months but tastes pretty tired to me. I’d like to try it again.
