Bottle, Dodgy Deli, Oxford. Attractive mahogany pour, light tan head. Husky walnut aroma, pleasant touch of butter. Light caramel malt sweetness, pears, soft earthy hops. Very drinkable and easy going. Odd to see it listed as a strong. This would feel much more at home in Premium Bitter.

Appearance: copper amber color. Little head, ivory color and few thick. Aroma: semi-toasty smells. Candy, toffee and vanilla touches. Aromatic-fruitiness like peaches and red apples. Slight floral-hoppy tones. Flavor: toasty and candy malty start. Vanilla and honey reminisce. Nice fruitiness similar to red apples, peaches and berries in syrup. Light but persistent hoppy final. Some liquory similar to whisky. Candy malty aftertaste. Palate: medium body and silky texture. Light carbonation. Advisable. Reddish amber color. Very small white head that disappears fast. Aroma is faint, fruity wiht notes of honey. Flavor is better than the smell, sweet with hints of wood, apples, liquor and malts. Medium body, velvety texture.

Fin (6185) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 22, 2007
Bottle picked up from a delicatessens, Shrewsbury, Salop, 19-10-07 Poured mid-amber with a slightly hazy small head. The aroma was sweet, malty and a little nutty, tasting sweet with a honeyness throughout.

Panzerfaust (539) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - OCT 16, 2007
Pours a cloudy dark amber color with a medium white head that diminished quite fast and left a thin lace. Faint malty and fruity aroma with notes of caramel covered oranges, ripe red apples, nuts and watermellon. Agreeable. Flavor has intense fruityness and gives notes of ginger, red apples with slight cidery sourness and hints of cereals, bread and biscuit. Medium body, clean and mild Strong Ale. Carbonation is light. The finish is a little dull. Sweet aftertaste. Alcohol concealed. Good.

Bottle, poured a light brown/dark amber with a light tan bubbly head. What an aroma - there is definitely an apple tartness there, but also smokey and sappy as well, not to mention some caramal. Just makes you want to drink it. A pretty smooth palate that gets stronger and sharper through the swallow. The flavour is a little understated though, just some sweetish malt really - which lets it down.

Bottle. Some maltiness and slightly bitter. Brownish appearance and left no lacing. Quite pleasant.

Maria (9631) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2007
Dark amber with no carbonation whatsoever. The aroma has notes of greene apples. Peel of green apples is the first note in the flavour and then roasted malt and a hint of licorice. The bitterness in the finish is adequate. This beer could have been a bit more interesting if it had had just a bit of carbonation.

Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Fluffy beige head. Fruit, caramel and light notes of chocolate. Flavour as well has choco notes and some fruits. Medium bodied. Sweetish end. Is quite mild and balanced.
