Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
An elegant, straw coloured bitter. The hint of sweetness is complemented by subtle hop flavours, leading to a dry finish. Brewed using Maris Otter pale Ale malt, Hobson's yeast and finished with Worcestershire Goldings and Herefordshire Progress hops.

Bottle opened at the Lahore Kebab House.
Very clean gold with a reasonable white head and lace. Lovely crisp hoppy snout with plenty of grassy notes and some good earthy malt in the background. The flavour is virtually identical. Really crisp grassy hops with some faint citrus and a pleasing dry bitter finish. Nice carbonation levels give it a good mouthfeel and goes well with the dryness. A crisp, refreshing and well made brew.

Draught Pints at Drum and Monkey (Nr Solihull UK) and The Coach and Horses in Weatheroak. Slightly earthy aroma and deeper golden appearance than Hobson Best. Flavour similar to Best but a little more malty and longer lasting. Slightly bitter after-taste but more of a rounded Pint than Hobson Best.
