3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask conditioned at The Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Pale gold with white head. Pale ale with a sweetish fruity character, quite apple skin like in flavour. Just a little too thin and biscuity for me, but still quite drinkable.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. A blonde beer with a white head and lacing. Some grassy hops in the thin aroma. Tastes a bit sweet and shandyish at first but then some definite orangey hops kick in. A reasonable enough beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Twisted Spire #5 - series 1 bottle. Very lovely pale straw pour with a light white head. The aroma is quite floral with a bit of grassy zestiness. Fresh and quite zesty. Lots of minerally hop flavour. A bit of soft peppery fruit and a touch of light zesty lemon. Nice and tasty.
