This is one of the best Pils in the world, bar none. I have travelled the world, 13 years in europe and no Pils, has this well rounded taste. it is dry, yet refreshing, bitter, yet sweet tasty with no nasty after taste. If I could get Kreutzberg shipped into the states, I would drink that, but since I can’t this beer is it. I can tell by several of the reviews, that they never actually tasted this beer.

It’s golden with a huge, creamy white head. The aroma is fairly mild with notes of malt, flowers and straw. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of bready malt, fruits, flower, light straw and the finish is pleasantly dry. It’s a refreshing pils.

(bottle, thanks to stephan!) pours a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of floral hops and honey, slightly yeasty, with a hint of caramel, grainy pale malts and rotten peaches. flavour is pale malts, light caramel and powdered sugar, quite dusty, with light notes of vanilla, herbal hops and a light-bitter finish. light to medium-bodied with average carbonation.

From tap at restaurant on market. Nice appearance and so cold. Almost gulped it down in one go. More than average, a nice beer. (Bad Hersfeld 201308) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ Wirtshaus in Fulda. Pours clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of grain and malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour, Pleasantly lingering on the palate, enriched by sweetish, yeasty and grainy notes. Good, bitter aftertaste. A decent Pilsener, indeed.
