Thanks? kiefdog for the share. Pours like liquid midnight during the northern lights with lots of planes flying around. Head is a nice mother-of-pearl color. Nose is nothing to write home about- roast, some thin coffee, and lager. Flavor is about the same. Unremarkable, but I guess if I’m hard up for a stout...

Half a can. Black. Nice but short lasting head. Thin burnt aroma, "tires?". Sour burnt toast flavour.

Can. Poured like "liquid midnight" ... not really. Pours brown. Smells arm-pitty, musk, sweaty, burnt toast. Flavor is dry, toast, bread, nothing.

Deep black, thin whispy head. Chocolate, caramel, nutty aroma. Low carbonation, very nice. Chocolate, fatty, goes down easily. A slight chemical aftertaste. Fairly good.

500ml can. Cola brown body, tan head, small ring of carbonation on top. Striking nose full of roast, dry leather, malted milk balls, flaked barley and flaked oatmeal and a touch of semi-sweet amaretto/coffee. Flavor is disappointingly pale, empty, transparent and peaked. Sharp acidity (but not sourness) and bitterness up front, poorly mashed, completely flabby and weak throughout the drink. Stewed sour veggies and butter just ruins this one. Smells fantastic, tastes terrible, what gives?

Canned sample. Near black in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of milk chocolate and mild red apple fruit. More cheap milk chocolate and apple in the mouth, along with red grapes, chalk, and a faint suggestion of mild roast coffee. Thin bodied. Average at best.
