500ml can. Black with almost no head after a few seconds. Rich, malty aroma, with chocolate and coffee. Smooth, light body, with a smooth, balanced flavor. Roasted malts, a hint of coffee and chocolate. Well balanced and creamy. Nice taste, bad looking and a bit too thin, but basically a well-balanced, flavorful, easy-drinking stout.

Pitch black with a small head. Slightly sour fragrance but very tasty with malt and coffee coming through. Easy drinking and no lingering bitterness. Very nice.

473mL can purchased from LCBO in Toronto. Initially pours black with a fizzy head and bubbles on the side. Looks like Coke. The head and bubbles fade quickly, leacing a rather flat looking beverage. Nice coffee aroma. Flavour is decent. Starts off with some coffee notes with the malts, though the flavour drops off somewhat midway. The aftertaste is left a bit thin. This beer (on tap) won a blind stout and porter tasting at C’est What a few months ago - which was a bit of a surprise.

473mL can. As the bottle says, it pours like liquid midnight - completely black with a moderate head (but not creamy). Aroma is a chocolate maltiness and a bit smoky. Flavour is roasted coffee, but mouthfeel is too thin. Finish is a bit short. Good, but not incredible.

473ml can from the LCBO. Overall a good tasting stout. Im glad to see Orangeville, ON can produce some good beer.

Can 473ml. Pours a black opaque body with average carbonation and a thin brown bubbly/frothy head. Nice malty/hoppy aroma with roasty and dark chocolate hints. Taste is well balanced, but it lacks the robustness I was expecting. Ends with a short bitter/roasty finish. Ordinary.

Okay not sure if I have the right beer here. I had a 1 Liter Limited edition Hockley Stout, number 291107... which rates quite a bit higher then this. Here’s my rate for what I think was this beer: Very dark pour with not too much head. Stong coco and coffee scent. Nice rich flavour of malts caramel and spice. A very pleasing roasted finish. One of the best, if not the best Stout I have ever had. Told you it may not be this beer. If anyone knows where I have gone wrong please send me a message.

The aroma is dusty, detergenty and has dark fruit and mild chocolate notes. Not a great start. The body is black and it holds a thin tan head. Chocolate, light roasted malt notes, dark fruits, some coffee, but it is mostly sweet and as it warms it intensifies and becomes a fairly enjoyable beer to drink. Not bad.
