Canette 473ml.

Can [500ml]. Pours a clear, deep orange-amber with an average size semi-lasting fizzy off-white head. Aroma of sweet bready malt, caramel, some light toastiness and nuts. After a minutes some light hops appear in the aroma and it’s more pleasant, bumping up the score a bit. Mild flavour’s also bready malt first, lightly sweet, followed by caramel, some nuts and just a hint of hops in the finish. Average to medium bodied. Nothing special and nothing bad, just a decent Amber Ale.

Nice Amber colour in the glass. Strong head leaving heavy lacing. Not much here for the nose. Starts off bready and malty with a little caramel, becoming nutty and grassy and a little too sweet for my taste in the middle. Slight, subtle bitter finish

473 ml can, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Clear amber caramel, thick foamy head. Sweet metallic aroma with some breadiness. More caramel on the first sip, then a mint brightness from the hops. Finish is medium length with some raisin coming through.

473 mL can. Lovely amber colour, lovely pale brown head. Aroma is far too mild. Needs an uptick on the late addition Goldings or Fuggles or whatever they’re using. Flavour is mild, and kinda toasty. A bit of earthy/herbal hops. Pleasant.

Pale amber pour with a thick white head. The aroma is quite malty and sweet. A touch of soft caramel along with a little bit of toasted grain. Some moderately spicy hop aroma is apparent as well, but they’re quite muted. Medium-bodied with a bit of sweetness but it’s pretty well-balanced. I wouldn’t call it my favourite beer but it’s a pretty decent lawnmower brew.

Way too much head. I would continue my rate but I can’t as I have to wait for the head to fade....waiting... okay poured most of the can in now. Clear amber/brown pour. Head is very clingy and is leaving lots of lacing. Very pleasant smell, flowery. Very easy to drink. Tastes I’m not used to that are hard to place. There’s a big spike of flavour right in the middle. Sweet and a bit grassy. Very little spice. Interesting easy to drink beer. Rather good for a light beer. Still can’t place those tastes though. I blame the Vegetarian wedding I was at earlier today.
